Antonio Bartesaghi Managing Director
OMET has been producing machines for printing labels and flexible packaging and for converting tissue, for over fifty-five years now.
OMET’s range of printing presses comprises the Varyflex V2, who is a packaging printing machine with a unique platform concept, ideal for flexible packaging, that can be set up on request with flexo or combined printing requirements regarding narrow or average-width materials; and XFlex (which comes in a range of models: X2, X4, X5 and X6) for printing labels and packaging; and iFLEX, the smart technology for label printing.
The new XJet allows the hybrid flexo and inkjet digital printing thanks to a partnership with Durst. These machines can print on a wide range of materials, including paper, self-adhesive paper, thin plastic film and flexible cardboard, and guarantee excellent print quality; sophisticated technological innovations simplify the use of the machines and reduce starting waste. Moreover, OMET’s R&D Division can always help customers creating projects and arrangements designed for the development of new products, accompanied by the duly guaranteed confidentiality of any such projects.
The range of products for converting tissue includes machines for the production of paper serviettes (the TV503 and TV840 mechanical folding lines; the FV vacuum folding line) paper towels (AS line) and interfolded products (ASV line). They produce high-quality, personalized products printed in one or more colours. OMET’s tissue machines represent a perfect blend of structural solidity and electronics that together reduce the need for the operator to intervene manually in order to change type of fold or format of the finished product. OMET installs its machines worldwide, and guarantees his customers a high-quality customer service.
