Cerutti’s adventure started in Casale Monferrato, before the beginning of the 20th Century. The workshop of Giuseppe, a smith and father of Giovanni - Cerutti’s founder - was the humble starting point of this successful enterprise.
After more than one century of development and growth, today the Cerutti Group is one of the world leading manufacturer of rotogravure presses for publication, packaging and specialties printing, counting two production sites, one R&D Centre and one Software Design Centre.
The Mother Company Officine Meccaniche G. Cerutti has its headquarter in Casale Monferrato, and includes another plant in Vercelli. In Vercelli, beside the production plant, operates the Research and Development Centre, equipped with presses suitable to develop research applicable to the gravure for packaging line and converting.
Starting from 2013, with the brand Cerutti Packaging Equipment, Cerutti Group is successfully present not only in the printing of packaging materials and specialties sector, but also in the converting field, producing wax and hot-melt coating machines, solvent and solvent-less laminating equipment - in and off line - and unsupported alufoil lacquering equipment. Giancarlo Cerutti is President and CEO of the Cerutti Group since 1981.

Cerutti Packaging Equipment is world leader in the engineering and manufacturing of rotogravure presses for the printing of flexible materials and cardboard for the packaging industry, and rotogravure presses for the printing of specialties (wood grain, transfer paper, tipping paper, covering for batteries and furniture industry, stamps and security printing…)
Since 2010, Cerutti Packaging Equipment supplies also wax and hot-melt coating machines, solvent and solvent-less laminating equipment - in and off line - and unsupported alufoil lacquering equipment for the converting industry.
Under the brand Officine Meccaniche G. Cerutti, the Group produces also gravure presses for publication printing and flexographic presses for newspaper printing.
